Devo - The Men Who Make The Music plus Butch Devo and the Sundance Gig

On Friday, August 15th, Lakeshore Record Exchange in conjunction with The Memorial Art Gallery, debut the next film in the Alternative Music Film Series: Devo - The Men Who Make The Music plus Butch Devo and the Sundance Gig.

Devo The Men Who Make the Music / Butch Devo
Devo - The Men Who Make The Music - This film compiles late-seventies concert footage - some of the earliest professionally shot footage of Devo, music videos and what is billed as "A vague story about Devo's rocky relationship with "Big Entertainment."
Bonus content includes the theatrical premier for "Butch Devo and the Sundance Gig," a recording of the band's electric Park City, Utah debut. "In January of 1996, we closed the Sundance Film Festival," says bassist Jerry Casale. "We wore Twenties-style prison suits and dished out classic Devo songs to an unsuspecting audience of Hollywood elite."
